Picture Haul!

I returned the Lucky flats and found a pair of two toned flats at Easy Spirit for only 49.99, Eskrisette. I didn't want the bow, but I still liked these enough. They are different from J.Crews because of the color combo. But these are made of leather as well, I think they're thicker, although, personally I would enjoy the lighter thinner leather from J. Crew. I also bought the Edvon Sun/Tan shoes, theyre so comfortable and they can go with anything because they're neutral, ya for comfort! The Edvons were $39.99.

Picture Haul!

I went to the mall today and bought some flats.Actually, I have been lusting over J.Crews Cece colorblock ballet flats in black and tan but they are $145! I'm not sure I want to fork that out for a pair of flats. But now that I have these Lucky Brand - Emmie in Rose Cream, I think I want to return them and just buy the ones from J.Crew. I don't know, I don't know!!!! I found similar ones with two tones at the mall, but they all had those little bows, I am just not digging the bows! Anywho, I will have to dwell on it because the Emmies are much better priced at $59.

I also went to the mall to check out Mac's Oh Sailor collection, but I was not impressed. So I bought the lipstick Strength and the eyeshadow Knight Divine.I like how the lipstick has those gold undertones, very pretty.
Also. I ended up going back to Origins to purchase the sunscreen I sampled from my last haul. It didn't irritate me the three times I used it, so I figured I'd buy it. So far all of their products seem to be very gentle, I am still absolutely LOVING the chap-stick, so soothing for irritation prone skin.

I went to Origins and bought  - A Perfect World Antioxidant Cleanser with White Tea. I believe it was 21.00 or 21.50. I also got a sample of the Checks & Balances Face Wash. The lady at Origins told me that A Perfect World was better for sensitive skin and that Checks & Balances was good for true combination skin. So I bought the one for sensitive skin, but I am glad she gave me a sample of the other one so I can compare them.
I also purchased Origins Organics Soothing Lip Balm for $15, a bit steep for a balm, but I want to try it and see if it's any good. I have a massive lip balm collection because my lips and my upper lip area is very sensitive. If I find something that helps with my eczema/sensitive skin, then I am willing to pay extra. So far it is very soothing and extremely moisturizing.
I was at the mall and forgot to bring a lip balm, my skin was already turning red and feeling horrible. As soon as I put some on, it was instant relief. I hope it continues to do a good job.

Rouge Dior Lipstick - #862 Hypnotic Red (Rouge Hypnotic) In the photos it looks a little less dark than it does in person, however, if you blot it on it can come out looking less intense. Love this dramatic color <3 $32 at Sephora

If I ever get a tattoo...

If I ever get a tattoo I would have to get this. It is feminine, small, and cute. Plus I love peacock feathers, they are so beautiful.

What's in your bag!?

These are old pictures from Flickr community "what's in your bag?"
I like them because it reminds me of what I was doing at that time.
First pic - I was sick :p
Second pic - I was taking a sociology class online.
Third Pic - I was selling Ugg Boots and had my receipts in that clear plastic bag :)

I just bought these lovely lip products at MAC. It's their holiday gift set. I wanted to get their "Put A Spell On You" pink bag but it was sold out. The colors were shades of pink and it looked really cute. However I'm glad I got "House of Mirth Deep Lip Bag" instead, I think the lip colors in this one look great on my skin tone. The lighter pink shades might not have looked as pretty. :)

I waited to buy my Clinique products until October 1st just so I could also get my free gifts. The free bonus includes a free blush, foundation, rejuvenating face cream, emergency blemish cream, mascara, lip gloss, and make-up remover. All came in that flower make-up bag. Yay for cool free gifts!
Oh but apparently they no longer sell the $25 gift set, it was only temporarily on the Internet. No worries though, having the large bottles last a lot longer :)

I've been wanting to try out Clinique's 3 Step skin care products. I've heard pretty good things about it. They have a starter set for only $24.00. On the website it asks you some personal skin question to help determine which skin care treatment is best for you. While on their website I also found an eye cream All About Eyes for $28.50. I have some pretty dark circles under my eyes, I hope this cream helps.

I need to start buying eye cream or something because from now on I'm just getting old. ;p
I love that necklace. My hubby got it for me in Downtown Disney at the California Hotel gift shop.

Up until recently I was unable to wear anything on my lips except for lip balm. Slowly I started wearing more and more lip products and now my lips don't get irritated. MAC lipsticks used to give me horrible irritation but now i wear it all day. I guess I grew out of my allergies.

I am finally going back to school. Landon is six months now and my husband has a better idea of his weekly schedules. I'm only taking one evening class, but hey it's better than nothing. I was also taking online courses but I pretty much ran out of things to take from the list of classes that I actually need. So I hope moving to the house and my husband's schedule won't interfere too much.
I also need to take more advantage of the gym across our apartment because once we move I don't know how fast we will be able to get a treadmill. I lost most of the weight after having Landon, but I'm still no size zero. It's a little depressing because although my jeans will fit now, they are definitely too tight. I'm just a few more inches away from being my normal self, so I can't give up now.

In less than one month, home sweet home.

I have been married for one year and 23 days.

Monday, June 8, 2009

 On Saturday
First stop, My husband took us to visit ma mere. I wanted to see her again since she was gone for a long time in her Mexico trip.
Second stop was Target for a wedding gift. My friend is getting married next weekend so the gift needed to get out of the way. He has only ever been to one wedding, I don't think he's as excited as I am. I especially can't wait to have some wedding cake!
Third stop was Nordstrom counter at Cerritos. I only own one lip liner and two lip glosses and lately I've been wanting to wear lipstick. I don't know anything about wearing lipstick so I just grabbed Cremsheen Modesty and Ravishing. Ravishing is my favorite.
Fourth stop was food time. We had burgers at Carl's Jr. Landon was behaving the majority of the time but then he started to cry halfway through my burger. I picked him up and ate with my left hand, no biggie. Man it's so embarrassing to have a crying baby in public, I nearly had a heart attack lol. Luckily holding him was good enough to quiet him down. I hate it when parents just let their kid cry as if they can't hear.
Fifth stop was Downtown Disney. I love Disney, and there is no way Landon is old enough to go to Disneyland yet so the downtown Disney walk is more than enough. Unfortunately I got blisters on my feet from the shoes I wore. I thought they would be comfortable but it gave me three blisters on each foot. I don't know if I'll even try to break them in. At the Grand California Hotel gift shop I found a necklace I really loved. He was sweet and bought it for me! It was only $15.00.
Final stop was a must at Ikea. Since we bought the king size bed we lost drawer space from the old frame. There was a lot of loose clothes laying around in the closet driving me crazy! Now we have a nice new six drawer chest. Were going to have to buy another one to replace the old one which doesn't match it.
I love busy weekends!!!

Thursday, June 4, 2009

On Saturday my husband woke up with horrible back pain so he decided it was time for a new bed. We ended up getting a Cal King $2,500-no tax, soft, and we got free sheets lol. Money well spent. Our old bed was a queen and it sat on a black vinyl frame which had drawers. So this Saturday we definitely need to go to Ikea and buy a dresser because I'm definitely tired of his sock laying around.

On Sunday I went to the airport to pick up ma mere. She was in Mexico for over 2 months, I missed her terribly! She was happy to see her grandson.

Seeing an actual play of Romeo & Juliet is a million times better. A professional one of course, none of that high school, college crap, they do it no justice. I just love reading along and remembering my favorite lines.

I like the way white eyeliner looks. I was going to buy a MAC eyeliner but ended up buying a Revlon Pure White for $5 instead.
I also like Bobbi Browns new customized idea. Pinks and browns are love this summer.
